Ko Samui

And relax…after nearly 3 weeks of travelling, we reached the island of Ko Samui in the Gulf of Thailand after a short internal flight from Chiang Mai. 10 mins to our hotel and the opportunity to put our feet up before returning home. A lovely hotel on the sea, with good food, so we really did very little.

The hotel ran a shuttle bus to the local village/beach each afternoon, and we went twice for a stroll along the beach, a massage in one of the many beachfront establishments and a cocktail.

Today, Sunday, we returned to Samui airport for our flight to Singapore. It’s a great little airport - almost entirely outside…

Quite a contrast from Changi airport in Singapore, where we met Kit for supper in Jewel and enjoyed looking at its amazing waterfall.
